Terms And Conditions

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking in the retreat.
By booking your spot and making the payment, you agree to these conditions in full.

1. Booking & Payment Policy

Please double-check all booking details before confirming and making payment. Once payment is made, we cannot accept responsibility for incorrect personal details or booking errors.

A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit or full payment has been received. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 90 days before the retreat begins, or your spot may be released for someone else.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

All payments (deposit and full balance) are non-refundable, unless the retreat is cancelled by the instructor (see Term 12). Deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you have to cancel your spot please do so in writing to noraonthemat@gmail.com.

Regardless of the reason, the following cancellation fee will apply:

Notification received 8 weeks before start of retreat : deposit is non-refundable.

Notification received less than 8 weeks before start of retreat : 100% of retreat price is non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to, cancellations due to:

  • Personal or medical emergencies of guests

  • Flight cancellations or delays for guests

  • COVID-related restrictions (illness, lockdowns, quarantine, border closures, testing or vaccination requirements)

I recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unexpected changes, illness, or travel disruptions for your transportation.

3. Health & Fitness

It is your responsibility to ensure you are in good health and physically fit to participate in yoga classes and retreat activities.
If you have any injuries, any pre-existing physical health conditions or concerns, please consult your doctor before booking the retreat with me.

4. Program Changes

The teacher reserves the right to make changes to the retreat schedule, guest teachers, or content due to unforeseen circumstances (including illness, weather, or local conditions).
In the event of a major change, suitable alternatives will be offered where possible, but no refunds or compensation will be provided for changes beyond our control.

5. Pricing & Discounts

Occasionally, discounted places may be offered to students, last-minute bookings, or friends of the host.
These discounts do not affect the pricing or status of guests who have paid full price, and no retroactive discounts will be applied.

6. Liability

Myself Eleonora, and collaborators of the Surf Lodge and accommodations accept no responsibility for loss, damage, injury, or illness incurred during your stay, including while participating in yoga, excursions, meals, or during free time.

You are fully responsible for your personal belongings, health, and travel arrangements. Travel to and from the retreat venue is entirely your responsibility.

7. Travel Insurance

I highly recommend obtaining travel insurance that includes:

  • Cancellation or trip disruption for your travel

  • Medical expenses

  • COVID-19 coverage

  • Travel delays and lost luggage

This is for your own peace of mind and to protect you against any unforeseen circumstances. This type of insurance is not included in the price of the retreat.

8. Travel Documents & Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport, visa (if required), and meet any health or vaccination requirements for entering Italy. No refunds will be granted if your participation is prevented by missing or incorrect documentation.

9. Guest Conduct

We expect all guests to behave respectfully and contribute positively to the group experience. Offensive, illegal, disruptive, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the retreat without refund. This includes behavior toward staff, other guests, or the venue.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

Your personal information will be kept confidential and used only for retreat-related purposes. We will not share your information with third parties except as required by law or with your consent. You may receive occasional follow-up emails related to this or future retreats.

11. Photography & Media

By attending the retreat, you consent to being included in group photos or videos taken during the retreat, which may be used for promotional purposes (website, social media, etc.). If you prefer not to appear in any media, please inform me directly in writing before arrival.

12. Instructor Cancellation

In the unlikely event that the instructor must cancel the retreat due to illness, emergency, natural disaster, or other force majeure circumstances:

  • You will receive a full refund of any amount paid for the retreat.

  • Flights and travel expenses will NOT be reimbursed, so we strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance.
